El Capitan
Narative
According to plan, we started our training for Mt. Whitney strong by going after the summit of El Capitan. Unbeknownst to us, the hike was far more difficult than we could have immagined. Most of Yosemite was closed due to massive water runoff from “the big melt”, which created two rivers we had to forge. After the rivers, we were soon making footprints in virgin snow. We won’t soon forget this trip.
